This area is based on one of the well-known Disney movies, Beauty and the Beast. Last September saw the opening of a new ride at Tokyo Disneyland. The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, based on the Walt Disney film of the same name, was originally postponed for five months due to the pandemic.

Compared to the Cinderella Castle, the appearance of the Beauty and the Beast castle is more pink and rosy. Additionally, in order to give visitors the feeling of walking into the movie, every detail in the area was purposefully designed to reflect a scene in the movie, to create the magical aesthetic of main character Bella’s world.
The music that is playing in this area is from the movie. In some areas, though, you can also hear some special sound effects, such as the sound of Maurice, Bella’s father, inventing an automatic firewood chopper.
The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast really made me feel like I was in the movie, so much so that I watched it again when I got home.
